Nothing is contacted otherwise, and nothing is contacted on a front-end page view under any circumstances. Both providers are off until you connect one.

connect.dadsfam.co.za — used only while connecting a cloud drive, and afterwards to renew the connection. Connecting a drive sends the provider name (
gdrive
or
onedrive
) and the one-time claim code the provider issued, and receives a refresh token in return. Renewing sends the provider name and that refresh token, and receives a short-lived access token. Nothing about an invoice, a customer or an order is sent. This broker exists so the site never has to hold a Google or Microsoft client secret. Terms: https://dadsfam.co.za/terms/ — Privacy policy: https://dadsfam.co.za/privacy-policy/

Google Drive (
www.googleapis.com
) — used only if you connect a Google Drive account. Invoice PDF files are uploaded to the folder you choose, and can be listed and deleted again from the Cloud backup screen. The plugin also asks once for the account's name and email address, so the screen can show which account is connected. What is sent: the access token, the invoice PDF and its file name. Terms: https://policies.google.com/terms — Privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Microsoft OneDrive (
graph.microsoft.com
) — used only if you connect a OneDrive account, and works the same way: invoice PDFs are uploaded, listed and deleted, and the account's name and email address are read once so the screen can show which account is connected. What is sent: the access token, the invoice PDF and its file name. Terms: https://www.microsoft.com/servicesagreement — Privacy statement: https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement

A word about PRO

Right, let me be straight with you, because I hate being sold to as much as you do.

Everything above is free and it stays free. Making invoices is not a premium feature. Putting your own logo and banking details on them is not a premium feature. Those are the things a plugin like this should just do, and if I put them behind a paywall I would be taking the mickey.

There is a PRO add-on. It exists because I am a dad in Cape Town, and this is one of the things that puts food on the table at my house. That is the honest reason. Not "unlock your potential", not "supercharge your workflow". Just: if this plugin saved you a headache and you can spare it, PRO helps me keep building.

There is one PRO version and one price: R500 once off, roughly $35, per plugin. It is not a subscription, there is no yearly renewal, and it does not expire. Pay once and it stays yours, updates included. If the free version does everything you need, use that and think nothing of it — it is not crippled to push you across, and it never will be.

What PRO adds is the stuff you only want once you are doing real volume. That is convenience and automation. It is not the plugin working properly, because the plugin already works properly.

PRO adds:

Invoices that make and email themselves when an order reaches the status you choose

PDFs that re-stamp PAID when payment lands, or when you change a status

Polite payment reminders for invoices that are really late — never to anyone who has paid

Bulk upload — a whole ZIP of PDF invoices onto their orders in one go, checked before anything happens

An activity log of everything that happened and who did it, ready to export for your bookkeeper

So if the free one does everything you need, brilliant. Genuinely. Use it, and I hope it saves you an afternoon. If you get to the point where the automation would save you real time, PRO is at plugins.dadsfam.co.za.

Either way, thanks for using something I built. — Zak, DadsFam

Support

Email: support@dadsfam.co.za
Website: https://plugins.dadsfam.co.za
Forum: https://forum.dadsfam.co.za

In WordPress, go to Plugins › Add New, search for DadsFam Invoice Manager, and press Install Now, then Activate. Your invoices, quotes, numbering and settings carry straight across. Every change is listed in changelog.txt, and in the plugin under Help › What's new.

New: a simpler menu — Home, All invoices, New invoice, Quotations, Settings and Help. Old screens and bookmarks forward by themselves.

New: Home shows at a glance who has paid and who still owes you, with a short setup list and the latest invoices and quotes.

New: make an invoice from a WooCommerce order or by hand (both are drawn the same way now), and turn an accepted quote into an invoice in one tap.

New: every setting on one screen with clear tabs, and your business details and numbering backed up automatically.

New: emails through WooCommerce's sender or your own name and address; optional automatic overdue marking; optional "remove everything when deleted" (off — your data is kept by default).

Fixed: accents, curly quotes, dashes and the € sign printed as rubbish on PDFs.

Fixed: an invoice number could be handed out twice, and due dates crept forward whenever a PDF was redrawn.

Fixed: order search ignored what you typed, Media Library storage lost newly made invoices, and My Account hid customers' real downloads.

Fixed: on quotes and hand-made invoices — tax added twice to shop products, address line breaks lost, emails sent without the PDF, and details dropped when a quote became an invoice.

Fixed: refunds were treated as orders — they could stop the order picker working and were counted as orders with no invoice. A slow search could also reopen the picker after you had chosen an order.

Changed: no "Generated by" line on PDFs any more. Tested with WordPress 7.1 and WooCommerce 11.2.

2.11.1

Fixed: an order with no email address could still have its invoice "emailed". The mail was handed a blank address, so it failed every time, and on a site whose SMTP plugin retries failed mail, one order like that became a steady stream of delivery-failure alerts in your inbox. Every invoice email now checks for a real address first. If there isn't one, nothing is sent and the reason is written to the log.

Fixed: Upload One with "Send email" ticked marked the invoice as sent even when the order had no email address, or when the email failed to go. The invoice is still saved either way, but it is now only marked as sent when it really was. If the order has no address, a note is added to the order and the screen tells you what to do: add an address, then use Resend.

Changed: Resend on several invoices at once now uses each order's email address as it is today, the same as the single Resend button does. It used to use the address saved when the invoice was made, so an address added to the order later was ignored. Orders that still have no address are skipped and logged instead of attempted.

Changed: small clean-ups in how the Invoice Builder's send box and the cloud connection notices read what you type, so the latest WordPress.org Plugin Check passes with nothing flagged. Nothing looks or works differently.

Changed: tested with WooCommerce 11.1.

Older releases: see changelog.txt.

Invoices and quotes for WooCommerce: make them from orders or by hand, see who has paid at a glance, and send them with secure links.
["GET
